We write legislation to make Illinois a more compassionate state. You can be part of the team that builds support for these bills. The Advocacy Team is a group of passionate people who meet regularly while the Illinois General Assembly is in session and take action on our policy priorities.
Join our advocacy teamWe train and support advocates. While we focus on criminal legal system reform, these training opportunities will help anyone learn to build power in Springfield.
Register for a trainingOur volunteer program pairs people who want to help with returning citizens. You may be asked for help writing a resume or to help someone get a state ID.
Sign up to volunteerOur support group for returning citizens meets monthly. The RCN provides support, re-entry help and resources, and a chance to connect with people who’ve been through similar experiences.
