Spring Lunch
Stories of Transformation: From Adversity to Impact
Join us on Wednesday, May 24 at 11:30 a.m. The lunch will be held in downtown Chicago. We will celebrate victory in our long-fought battle to end juvenile life without parole sentences in Illinois, and you will get to know our tenacious advocates, former “juvenile lifers” whose transformation from life in prison to lives dedicated to helping others. They made all the difference in this legislative win; they truly turned adversity into impact.

During our trainings, you will learn about the legislative process in Illinois and how a bill really becomes a law, develop skills to navigate Springfield, and build support for issues that matter to you.
These FREE trainings are open to individuals and organizations interested in advancing change in our state through the legislative process in Springfield. While our focus is on criminal legal reform, we try to make our training useful for any issue.
