IMPACTED EXCELLENCE

OCTOBER FUNDRAISER

CELEBRATE CHANGE-MAKERS WHO ARE TURNING ADVERSITY INTO IMPACT.

During Impacted Excellence, we will honor truly excellent people who are transcending the horrific impact of long-term incarceration. You will hear from people who originally had life without parole sentences but are home now – and thriving – because of the US Supreme Court’s Miller v. Alabama decision. 2022 marks 10 years since the Miller decision.

Impacted Excellence will be held in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. You will receive the exact address when you register. There will be dinner, music, dancing, and conversation with friends old and new.

Tickets are $200, and you have the option to purchase a ticket for a person who has been impacted by the criminal legal system.

UPCOMING FREE, VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON TRAININGS

During our trainings, you will learn about the legislative process in Illinois and how a bill really becomes a law, develop skills to navigate Springfield, and build support for issues that matter to you.

These FREE trainings are open to individuals and organizations interested in advancing change in our state through the legislative process in Springfield. While our focus is on criminal legal reform, we try to make our training useful for any issue.

Upcoming In-Person Chicago Training Dates

Our Chicago trainings are held in the River North neighborhood. Both upcoming in-person trainings are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Find more information about the trainings below.
