Restore Justice engages with policy-makers, educating them with positive solutions, while advocating for children and young adults who are serving extreme sentences. We promote healing, hope, and humanity for people who are incarcerated and their loved ones.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n OUR FOCUS\n <\/p>\n \n

\n We write and support Illinois policies that will replace outdated, draconian laws of past eras with commonsense policies that will allow families and communities to heal.\n<\/h2>\n \n

We focus our legislative efforts on sentencing policy, prison conditions and practices, and pathways to release. The laws we have shepherded have been designed to create ways for people to come home and to bring more people home, and to make sure people who are incarcerated and their families are treated humanely. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n
