Maoists hold Justice Court, free fellow captured maoist

Palamu, December 27 (ANI): Maoists in Palamu district of Jharkhand on Sunday organised their own court locally known as ‘Kangaroo Court’ and give freedom to two Maoists belonging to other group ‘Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad’ (JJP). Earlier in a gun battle between the banned Maoist outfit, Bharatiya Communist Party (BCP) and Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad, a Maoist commander belonging to JJP was killed and two Maoists from the same group were captured and taken away by the BCP. Members of BCP organised a people’s court to punish the two captured and in a rare judgment gave freedom and threatened them of dire consequences if they did not leave JJP permanently.
